Tamno siva boja komunicira snagu i misterioznost crne. Svijetlo siva boja je po prirodi ženstvena, dok je tamno siva više muževna. Zapravo je riječ o nijansi crne boje. Siva se često naziva i bojom olova, metala, baruta. Nijanse poput sivkaste znaju kod ljudi izazivati nelagodu i to treba imati na umu pri izboru odjeće. Žuta je boja sunca, sreće, cvijeća i svježine. Žuta boja jednako tako može predstavljati i oprez i ljubomoru. U kombinaciji s crnom bojom žuta daje jako dobar kontrast i vidljivost što se često koristi u prometu, ali i u odijevanju. Žuta se tumači i kao boja za djecu, kao topla, nestabilna i spontana boja. Dokazano je i da bebe češće plaču u žutim sobama. Žutu obuću, hlače i haljine zgodno je odijenuti kao dio proljetne i ljetne odjeće i vedre garderobe. Žuto crne odjevne kombinacije vrlo su česte. Nijanse žute boje su limun-žuta, zlatno-žuta, kremasta, boja senfa, banane ili žuti oker.
